Diadem - a simplified joint stock company with a capital of €126,000 and a turnover of €4.4 million in 2009 - is based near Limoges and has a proven track record of more than 20 years in the area of imaging.

Whereas we initially specialised in the photogravure trade, thanks to the continuous development of our areas of competence, we are now positioning ourselves in the market as experts in graphic solutions.

On both a national and international scale, we manage all types of commercial and communication materials, whether printed or virtual: Diadem is therefore involved from design through to print monitoring and develops solutions such as databases to enable you to optimise your processes.

We are a company of human proportions - a staff of 44 - that has an international reputation and we work in partnership with our customers, being involved in a variety of sectors: industry, distribution, real estate, etc.

Our strategy

It is based on three key areas:

  • Commercial Development:

Diadem concentrates on extending the services it offers, optimising its competitiveness and positioning itself on the niche markets, so as to be able to be meet your expectations in the best possible way. By doing this we aim to strengthen our market share in all the areas of activity we are involved in.

  • Research and Development (R&D):

We give a special place to R&D and frequently make major technical investments. This strategic choice enables us to design innovations on a regular basis, which are a source of added value, and to make state of the art equipment available to you.

  • Developing our Human Resources:

We have a very demanding recruitment process, plan solid training systems and, through development and evaluation reviews, provide regular monitoring of all our staff members, so as to ensure that our teams can blossom and achieve high levels of performance and motivation.

Our history

  • Diadem’s birth: a local photogravure workshop

Diadem’s origins date back to 1989, when Mr Dominique Robin decided to set up a photogravure workshop in the town of Panazol near to Limoges. At the start Diadem had 5 staff members and worked exclusively on a local basis at that time.

  • Growth: development of the local workshop into a company of national dimensions

Diadem experienced a rapid development of its activities as from the middle of the 1990s, as it took advantage of the numerous innovations that appeared in the IT sector. Major investments enabled us to offer our customers a wider range of services with enhanced quality. In this way Diadem extended its services onto the national market.

  • Acceleration of the dynamics of development: change of Leadership and new management style:

In 2005, Diadem was bought by Mr Sébastien Hardy who then took over the Running of the company. This stage marked the transition from a traditional management style to management that encouraged innovation. From that time onwards, Diadem has committed itself to a continuous improvement process based on three key strategic concepts: commercial development on an international scale, research and development (R&D) and development of human resources.

  • The new development surge: broadening the portfolio of activities and innovation

In 2006, our innovation process was illustrated by the launch of a new activity: Virtual Imaging. Diadem therefore developed a complete range of new services with illustrations liberated from all the constraints of the real world. Various other innovations are also perfected on a regular basis: content management systems enable composing and publishing of any type of document. These innovations now represent a major lever for Diadem’s development.
