Design

Whatever your expectations and the constraints to be overcome, Diadem can come up with the basic creative concept for your illustration project.

Our Artistic Director establishes the best technical solution to adopt to illustrate your project and defines all the elements that make up your visual (objects, characters, settings…) along with you.

We then agree a customised process.

Being responsive to your needs, we create roughs and submit proposals.

3D modelling

Based on a rough sketch, a 2D plan, a photograph or indeed a physical mock-up, our computer graphic designers create or recreate the three-dimensional volume of any type of item.

3-dimensional modelling of your objects enables you to enhance your illustrations with various functions: 3D objects can for instance be viewed from different angles, manipulated in real time or be the subject of virtual scenarios. It is also possible to superimpose them on various illustrations (photographs or videos incorporating virtual 3D elements) and to use them for taking virtual shots.

Texturising

Diadem has skills that enable very reliable reproduction of the visual aspect of all types of texture.

We therefore work on the patterns, material, grain, etc. of various surfaces, so as to reproduce them in an extremely precise way.

Our 3D computer graphic designers have mastered various techniques such as mapping, skinning, rigging, etc.

You can make use of these hyperrealistic virtual textures to surface your 3D-modelled items: by applying a texture that simulates the appearance of a defined surface, you give them a perfectly realistic look.

Hyperrealistic rendering

To give all your illustrations, whether partially or fully virtual, a hyperrealistic look, Diadem has mastered a wide range of visual effects that offer limitless possibilities.

We create "optical illusions" aimed at reproducing the real factors (reflections, shadows, luminosity…) and work on their visual appearance, so as to optimise the overall rendering of your illustrations so that they fulfil your expectations perfectly.

Our artists and computer graphic designers have mastered a range of specialised techniques and tools and, amongst other things, rely on processes used in the world of cinema, such as compositing or matte painting.

Stills

Diadem makes various still illustrations, which are either completely virtual or combine real and virtual elements: photographs of internal or external surroundings, of buildings, of products, sketches, plans and mock-ups in 2 or 3 dimensions, etc.

They enable you to illustrate all your information with limitless total creative freedom.

From reception of the creative brief through to the rendering work, we are involved at each stage in the production of your illustrations: pencil sketches, design, 3D modelling, texturising, hyperrealistic rendering, digital processing, matte painting, mounting and compositing, retouching, etc.

Films and animations

Video montages incorporating real and virtual elements - e.g: combination of 3D animation sequences, video sequences and photographs - or completely virtual 3D animations: so as to give life to your illustrations, Diadem offers you various solutions to produce animations and videos that are pre-scripted or can be controlled in real time.

Our computer graphic designers have in-depth skills and high-performance tools and rely in particular on techniques such as compositing, matte painting, etc.

Offering various functions - possibility of manipulating and modifying elements modelled in 3D in real time, of benefiting from various angles for viewing, of activating pre-defined scenarios… - interactive PDFs constitute particularly effective media for producing your manuals, your demonstration documents, your configurators or indeed your virtual mock-ups and proofs.

These interactive files also have various advantages in terms of use: possible integration into various media (Internet, DVD…), compatibility with all types of IT hardware and ease of storage and downloading.
